{"id":100016,"date":"2026-02-16T06:40:18","date_gmt":"2026-02-16T12:40:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theinformant.com\/?p=100016"},"modified":"2026-02-16T06:40:22","modified_gmt":"2026-02-16T12:40:22","slug":"se-atienden-en-el-hospital-del-nino-a-150-menores-con-cancer-infantil-imiem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theinformant.com\/?p=100016","title":{"rendered":"Se atienden en el Hospital del Ni\u00f1o a 150 menores con c\u00e1ncer infantil: IMIEM"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>-La Unidad de Hemato-oncolog\u00eda atiende cada a\u00f1o entre 70 y 90 nuevos casos.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap wp-block-paragraph\">En el marco del D\u00eda Mundial de la Lucha contra el C\u00e1ncer Infantil, el Gobierno del Estado de M\u00e9xico destaca que cuenta con personal especializado para la atenci\u00f3n de esta enfermedad en el Hospital para el Ni\u00f1o del Instituto Materno Infantil del Estado de M\u00e9xico (IMIEM), donde actualmente 150 menores y adolescentes reciben atenci\u00f3n multidisciplinaria en la Unidad de Hemato-oncolog\u00eda.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isidoro Tejocote Romero, jefe de dicha \u00e1rea, detall\u00f3 que las y los pacientes en tratamiento provienen de diversos municipios de la entidad y de otros estados como Michoac\u00e1n, Guerrero y Morelos.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El tambi\u00e9n onc\u00f3logo pediatra se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el Hospital para el Ni\u00f1o atiende entre 70 y 90 casos nuevos anualmente, por lo que es necesario fortalecer la medicina preventiva, a fin de detectar oportunamente este padecimiento, ya que, como cualquier c\u00e1ncer, es curable si se detecta a tiempo.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En este sentido, recomend\u00f3 las revisiones, por lo menos una vez al a\u00f1o, desde el nacimiento de ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os para dar seguimiento al crecimiento y desarrollo.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Explic\u00f3 que los s\u00edntomas que pueden presumir esta enfermedad son sangrados, p\u00e9rdida de peso y moretones sin causa aparente, debilidad, aparici\u00f3n de bultos en diversas partes del cuerpo, fiebre y dolor de cabeza persistente, as\u00ed como cambios en la visi\u00f3n. Los principales tipos de c\u00e1ncer infantil son: leucemia, que se presenta en dos tercios del total de casos; linfomas cerebrales, tumores abdominales, de huesos y de ojo.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El jefe de la Unidad de Hemato-oncolog\u00eda destac\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n que se trabaja en colaboraci\u00f3n con el St. Jude Children\u2019s Research Hospital de Memphis, Tennessee, el cual es l\u00edder en la atenci\u00f3n de este padecimiento y brindar capacitaci\u00f3n, a fin de mejorar los procesos de atenci\u00f3n y elevar la calidad de vida de los pacientes, a trav\u00e9s del programa internacional \u201cM\u00e9xico en alianza con St. Jude\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>-La Unidad de Hemato-oncolog\u00eda atiende cada a\u00f1o entre 70 y 90 nuevos casos.
