Su salida del reality se dio apenas en la tercera semana del programa, en medio de una fuerte pol\u00e9mica por su participaci\u00f3n mientras mantiene una carrera pol\u00edtica en M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En la gala de eliminaci\u00f3n, Mayer se encontraba nominado junto a Celinee Santos, Julia Arg\u00fcelles, Josh Mart\u00ednez, Jailyne Ojeda y la youtuber mexicana Caeli. Tras el anuncio de los participantes salvados por el p\u00fablico, la decisi\u00f3n final qued\u00f3 entre Julia Arg\u00fcelles y el legislador mexicano, siendo finalmente Mayer quien abandon\u00f3 la competencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al escuchar el resultado, el exintegrante de Garibaldi reaccion\u00f3 con serenidad y abraz\u00f3 a su compa\u00f1era antes de salir de la casa. Posteriormente reconoci\u00f3 que le hubiera gustado continuar en el reality, pero asegur\u00f3 respetar la decisi\u00f3n de la audiencia. \u201cEl p\u00fablico nunca se equivoca, ellos saben qu\u00e9 juego quieren y eso se respeta\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La eliminaci\u00f3n gener\u00f3 reacciones divididas en redes sociales, donde algunos usuarios celebraron su salida mientras otros criticaron que el tambi\u00e9n diputado haya pedido licencia a su cargo para participar en un programa de entretenimiento. Su decisi\u00f3n de entrar al reality fue motivo de debate desde el momento en que se anunci\u00f3 su participaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Actualmente, Mayer solicit\u00f3 licencia sin goce de sueldo para ausentarse de su cargo legislativo.
