{"id":104469,"date":"2026-05-06T11:54:53","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T17:54:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theinformant.com\/?p=104469"},"modified":"2026-05-06T11:54:56","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T17:54:56","slug":"edomex-prohibe-peleas-de-animales-con-nueva-ley-de-bienestar-animal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theinformant.com\/?p=104469","title":{"rendered":"EDOM\u00c9X PROH\u00cdBE PELEAS DE ANIMALES CON NUEVA LEY DE BIENESTAR ANIMAL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Estado de M\u00e9xico aprob\u00f3 la nueva <strong>Ley de Protecci\u00f3n, Cuidado y Bienestar Animal<\/strong>, la cual proh\u00edbe las peleas de animales y establece sanciones econ\u00f3micas y administrativas para quienes participen, promuevan o permitan este tipo de pr\u00e1cticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La legislaci\u00f3n contempla <strong>multas de hasta 300 UMA<\/strong>, equivalentes a aproximadamente <strong>35 mil pesos<\/strong>, adem\u00e1s de <strong>arrestos de hasta 36 horas<\/strong> y posibles consecuencias penales en casos considerados de crueldad extrema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La normativa tambi\u00e9n fortalece las obligaciones de cuidado animal mediante el concepto de <strong>custodia responsable<\/strong>, as\u00ed como programas de esterilizaci\u00f3n, vacunaci\u00f3n, adopci\u00f3n y un futuro <strong>Registro \u00danico de Animales de Compa\u00f1\u00eda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entre las conductas prohibidas se incluyen el abandono, la zoofilia, la venta irregular de animales y cualquier acci\u00f3n que provoque sufrimiento o riesgo para ellos.
