Former President Donald Trump intensified his criticism of Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on Friday, alleging that the longtime congressional critic should \u201cpay the price\u201d for what Trump described as \u201ca real crime.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump accused Schiff of falsifying loan documents and promoting false allegations involving Trump\u2019s son, whom he claimed \u201cdid nothing wrong.\u201d Trump also repeated past criticisms, calling the Russia investigation a “scam” and accusing Schiff of orchestrating a \u201ccoup\u201d alongside other Democrats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff is in BIG TROUBLE!” Trump wrote. “He falsified Loan Documents\u2026 Shifty should pay the price of prison for a real crime, not one made up by the corrupt accusers!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schiff has not responded publicly to the latest accusations. No formal charges or legal actions related to these new claims have been announced.
