50 CENT GRANTED TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST RICK ROSS’ EX TIA KEMP OVER ALLEGED HARASSMENT OF HIS SON

MIAMI, Florida — October 28, 2026. Rapper and television producer 50 Cent has obtained a temporary restraining order against Tia Kemp, the former partner of fellow rapper Rick Ross, following allegations that she repeatedly targeted his 14-year-old son in social media posts.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a Florida judge issued the temporary injunction on October 26, ordering Kemp to remain at least 500 feet away from the teenager and prohibiting her from contacting him directly or indirectly, including through social media.

The order is scheduled to expire November 3, when both sides are expected to appear in court for a hearing on whether longer-term restrictions are warranted.

FLORIDA JUDGE GRANTS TEMPORARY PROTECTION ORDER

The court granted the temporary injunction after 50 Cent, whose legal name is Curtis Jackson, filed a petition in Miami-Dade County on behalf of his son, Sire.

The order requires Kemp to remain at least 500 feet away from the teenager.

It also prohibits direct and indirect contact, including communications through social media or third parties.

According to TMZ’s review of the documents, Kemp is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition while the order is in effect and must surrender any weapons in her possession to law enforcement upon being served.

The temporary order provides protective restrictions pending a hearing. It does not constitute a final judgment that Kemp committed stalking or harassment.

50 CENT ACCUSES TIA KEMP OF ONLINE HARASSMENT

Jackson’s petition alleges that Kemp repeatedly made disparaging statements about his teenage son during a series of online posts and public appearances.

According to the filing, Kemp used derogatory language about the boy’s perceived abilities and made unsupported claims concerning a developmental diagnosis.

The rapper’s attorneys argue that the statements were intended to humiliate the teenager and his family.

They also allege that Kemp shared the boy’s photograph alongside sexually inappropriate imagery and commentary concerning his mother, Daphne Joy.

The allegations remain subject to the legal proceedings, and no court has issued a final determination concerning the truth or defamatory nature of the disputed statements.

ATTORNEYS SAY KEMP IGNORED CEASE-AND-DESIST LETTER

Before seeking court intervention, Jackson’s legal team reportedly sent Kemp a cease-and-desist letter demanding that she remove the disputed posts and stop making statements about his son.

According to the petition, Kemp responded by sharing part of the legal notice on social media along with a hostile message directed at Jackson’s attorneys.

The rapper’s lawyers argue that her response demonstrated an unwillingness to stop the alleged conduct voluntarily.

They contend that continued publication of the statements could cause additional emotional harm to the teenager.

The court’s temporary restrictions were issued while the parties await a hearing on whether a longer-lasting injunction is necessary.

SEPARATE FEDERAL LAWSUIT SEEKS AT LEAST $6 MILLION

The Florida protective-order proceeding is not the only legal action involving Jackson and Kemp.

On October 26, Jackson also filed a separate civil lawsuit in federal court in California seeking at least $6 million in damages.

According to court documents reviewed by Complex and XXL, the complaint alleges libel, slander, false-light invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The lawsuit claims that Kemp published false and offensive statements about the teenager across multiple social media platforms.

Jackson’s attorneys are requesting monetary compensation and an order preventing further publication of statements found to be defamatory.

The $6 million figure represents damages requested by the plaintiff, not an amount awarded by a court.

LEGAL DISPUTE FOLLOWS LONG-RUNNING HIP-HOP RIVALRY

The controversy developed against the backdrop of a longstanding public feud between 50 Cent and Rick Ross.

Kemp shares an adult son with Ross, and the latest disagreement reportedly escalated after Jackson commented publicly on an incident involving that son.

According to entertainment reporting, Jackson mocked the situation and made statements supporting the individual accused of attacking Ross and Kemp’s son.

Kemp subsequently responded with public criticism of Jackson and his family.

The dispute eventually expanded to statements involving Jackson’s younger son, prompting the rapper to pursue legal action.

Rick Ross is not identified as a defendant in the reported proceedings against Kemp.

TIA KEMP RESPONDS TO THE LEGAL ACTION

Kemp has publicly challenged Jackson’s criticism and accused him of escalating their disagreement.

In videos shared online, she argued that Jackson had initiated the conflict by commenting on her family.

She also rejected the idea that the rapper could silence her through legal threats.

Her statements reflect her position in the public dispute and do not resolve the allegations raised in court.

As of October 28, the available reporting does not establish that Kemp has filed a formal response to the federal civil complaint.

COURT FILINGS EMPHASIZE PROTECTION OF A MINOR

Jackson’s attorneys have emphasized that his son is a private individual who did not voluntarily enter the public disagreement between adults.

The filings argue that the teenager should not become a target of online attacks because of his father’s celebrity status or longstanding conflicts.

The legal team also stressed that autism should never be used as an insult, distinguishing that principle from its allegation that Kemp falsely attributed a medical condition to the child.

The case raises questions about the boundaries of online commentary, privacy protections and the responsibilities of adults when discussing minors.

The allegations also illustrate how disputes involving public figures can affect family members who are not themselves participants in the controversy.

WHAT HAPPENS ON NOVEMBER 3?

The temporary Florida injunction is scheduled to remain in effect until November 3, when the court will consider whether to extend the restrictions.

Both sides are expected to have an opportunity to present their positions.

The judge may consider evidence concerning the alleged online conduct, the risk of continued harassment and the legal requirements for a longer-term protective order.

Separately, the California federal lawsuit will proceed through its own civil process.

The two cases involve related allegations but seek different remedies.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

For now, the Florida court’s temporary order restricts Kemp’s contact with Jackson’s teenage son while the November 3 hearing approaches.

The federal civil lawsuit could lead to further filings, hearings or settlement discussions.

No damages have been awarded, and the allegations in the civil complaint have not been finally adjudicated.

The next hearing will determine whether the protective restrictions remain in place beyond their current expiration date.

The case underscores the growing legal consequences of online disputes when allegations of harassment and defamation involve children.
